This article reviews the general issues related to the challenge of arbitrators as a fundamental right and offers a compilation of decisions on challenges issued by three global arbitral institutions, which lead to the conclusion that one of the mistakes made by the challenging parties is to apply the subjective standard to the challenge.El presente artículo repasa las cuestiones generales relacionadas con recusación de árbitros como derecho fundamental y ofrece una recopilación de decisiones sobre recusación emitidas por tres instituciones arbitrales de alcance global, que permiten concluir que uno de los errores cometidos por las partes recusantes es aplicar el estándar subjetivo a la recusación.
