This article analyzes the instruments of parliamentary control in Mexican law, a subject that again becomes relevant because in 2018 there will be two new instruments of this nature that are: the approval by the Chamber of Deputies of the National Development Plan and approval by the Senate of the National Public Security Strategy. If we add the constitutional reform of 2014 that will allow consecutive legislative re-election, these circumstances will undoubtedly give greater importance to these powers of control exercised by each of the Chambers.Este artículo analiza los instrumentos de control parlamentario en el derecho mexicano, tema que nuevamente se vuelve relevante, porque en 2018 habrá dos nuevos instrumentos de esta naturaleza, que son: la aprobación por la Cámara de Diputados del Plan Nacional de Desarrollo y la aprobación por el Senado de la Estrategia Nacional de Seguridad Pública. Si a lo anterior le agregamos la reforma constitucional de 2014, que permitirá la reelección legislativa consecutiva, estas circunstancias darán, sin duda, una mayor importancia a estas facultades de control que ejercerán cada una de las Cámaras.
