In the following paper, the authors comment on the Theory of the Alter Ego based on the article 14 of the Peruvian Arbitration Law. They indicate the requirements that arbitral doctrine and jurisprudence have established to lift the corporate veil in arbitral headquarters. At the same time, they also analyze a case in which this theory was applied and narrate the odyssey that this arbitration award had to go through in the Peruvian Judiciary.En el presente artículo, los autores comentan la teoría del álter ego a la luz del artículo 14 de la ley peruana de arbitraje. Indican cuáles son los requisitos que la doctrina y la jurisprudencia arbitral han establecido para levantar el velo societario en sede arbitral. Asimismo, analizan un caso en el que se aplicó esta teoría y narran la odisea por la que tuvo que atravesar este laudo en el Poder Judicial peruano.
