In the following paper, the authors develop the causal placed in subparagraph a) of numeral 1 of article V of the New York Convention, referring to the non-execution of an arbitration award for invalidity of arbitration agreement (convention), with the purpose of analyzing the consequences derived from requesting the application of this causal in Peru, taking into consideration the Peruvian Arbitration Law.En el presente artículo, los autores realizan un desarrollo de la causal establecida en el inciso a) del numeral 1 del artículo V de la Convención de Nueva York, referida a la no ejecución de un laudo por invalidez del acuerdo (convenio) arbitral, con el propósito de analizar las consecuencias derivadas de solicitar la aplicación de esta causal en el Perú, teniendo en cuenta lo establecido en la Ley Peruana de Arbitraje.
