Es un hecho notorio para la opinión nacional e internacional que el Proyecto Hidroeléctrico Sogamoso -Santander-, plantea un conflicto ambiental, que no es aceptado, valorado, ni resarcido adecuadamente por las autoridades ambientales, sector privado y Gobierno Nacional, quienes dentro de sus competencias, actuaciones y omisiones han generado y permitido un daño ambiental incuantificable que afecta ostensiblemente el interés superior del ambiente sano para la subsistencia de la humanidad. Ampliamente se ha demostrado que la construcción de represas, genera daños irreversibles a comunidades por la afectación al derecho a un ambiente sano, el perjuicio de hábitats, salud humana, formas de vida y fuentes de alimentación.It is a notorious fact for the national and international opinion that the hydroelectric project Sogamoso-Santander-poses an environmental conflict, which is not accepted, valued, or adequately compensated by the environmental authorities, private sector and Government, who within their competence, actions and omissions have generated and allowed an unquantifiable environmental damage that affects the interests of ostensibly healthy environment for the survival of humanity.
