The Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation in Mexico ruled that the organs of the Judicial Power of the Federation in Mexico are not entitled to exercise a control of conventionality over rules governing the process of origin. In this paper I will explain the reasons why such a decision constitutes a retrogression to the constitutional reform of June 10, 2011, because is a limitation to the federal judiciary to order the non-application of the norms contrary to the human rights.La Suprema Corte de Justicia de la Nación en México resolvió que los órganos del Poder Judicial de la Federación en México no están facultados para ejercer un control de convencionalidad sobre de normas que rigen el proceso de origen. En este trabajo expondré las razones por las que tal decisión constituye un retroceso a la reforma constitucional de 10 de junio de 2011, pues se limita la facultad del Poder Judicial Federal para inaplicar las normas contrarias a los derechos humanos.
