Everybody knows that the Qur'an is the sacred book of Islam. Despite this fact, many people do not know the great relationship between the Qur'an and the Bible. In the Qur'an there are many references of the Sacred books which existed before the revelation of the Qu'ran, which are the Pentateuch and the Evangelion. Although we are very close to the muslim world, this has not made the Qu'ran more known in western countries. In this article we can briefly see the origins of Islam, the revelation of the Qur'an, as well as the main prophets of this religion. This introduction bring us to the object of the study, the animals in the Qur'an. We can see which animals appear in the Qur'an, and in which sura and versicle they are referred. We will also see in this paper that many considerations that we have about animals in Islam may be denied.El Corán es el libro sagrado del Islam. A pesar de ello mucha gente desconoce la inmensa relación entre El Corán y la Biblia. En El Corán se hace referencia numerosas veces a los Libros sagrados previos a la revelación de El Corán, el Pentateuco y Los evangelios. A pesar de la proximidad física con el mundo musulmán, esto no ha servido para que su libro sagrado sea más conocido por los países occidentales. En el artículo se detalla y sitúa brevemente los orígenes del Islam y la revelación de El Corán y se detallan también sus principales profetas. Esta introducción da paso al objeto del estudio, con la descripción de los animales citados en El Corán, con detalle de la sura y versículo en que aparece cada uno de ellos. La cita que se efectúa de determinados animales servirá también para desmentir tópicos sobre el papel de algunos de ellos en El Corán.
