In this document, the author studies the constitutionality of the popular anti - bullfighting consultation that has been presented and approved by the Council of Bogota, and that aims to ask the citizens of the Colombian Capital, if they agree that bullfights are held in the city. The author also analyzes the law applicable to the case, the jurisprudence of the Constitutional Court on bullfighting, as well as the competence of the Council of Bogota.En el presente documento se analiza la constitucionalidad de la consulta popular anti-taurina que se ha presentado y aprobado ante el Concejo de Bogotá, con el fin de preguntar a los ciudadanos, si están de acuerdo con que se celebren corridas de toros en la capital colombiana. El autor estudia, además de la legislación aplicable al caso, la jurisprudencia de la Corte Constitucional sobre las corridas de toros, así como la competencia del Concejo.
