If an older adult comes before the Judicial Power to exercise his rights, he must guarantee at all times that his human dignity be respected, that no abuse be committed against him and take necessary measures to ensure that he clearly understands the procedure in which his rights are being aired, and that he knows at all times the legal situation in which he finds himself so that he can exercise them.Si un adulto mayor acude ante el Poder Judicial para ejercer sus derechos, éste debe garantizar en todo momento que se respete su dignidad humana, que no se cometan abusos en su contra y tomar medidas necesarias para cerciorarse de que entiende claramente el procedimiento en que se están ventilando sus derechos, y que conozca en todo momento la situación jurídica en que se encuentra para que pueda ejercerlos.
