This work addresses the study of the fundamental political decisions emptied into the original text of the Political Constitution of the State, in their relationship with the social reality with which they must be consistent. Starting from the theoretical-conceptual exploration of the question, and based on a critical evaluative methodology, we approach the social manifestations of recent configuration that show new expressions of constitutional order that the fundamental norm does not contain. From this, we postulate the thesis of the foundational political decisions to sustain that the new realities of our complex and demanding societies can be identified as new fundamental political decisions that, from a hermeneutical and heuristic exercise, must be incorporated into the constitutional text.Este trabajo aborda el estudio de las decisiones políticas fundamentales vaciadas en el texto original de la Constitución Política del Estado, en su relación con la realidad social con la que deben ser acordes. A partir de la exploración teórico conceptual de la cuestión, y con base en una metodología crítico-valorativa, nos aproximamos a las manifestaciones sociales de reciente configuración que evidencian nuevas expresiones de orden constitucional que la norma fundamental no contiene. A partir de ello, postulamos la tesis de las decisiones políticas fundacionales para sostener que las nuevas realidades de nuestras sociedades complejas y demandantes pueden ser identificadas como nuevas decisiones políticas fundamentales que, a partir de un ejercicio hermenéutico y heurístico deben ser incorporadas al texto constitucional.
