This study intends. after an oven1inv analysis of the Bolivian political system through its government political party and election systems to focus on its atypical presidential election system to try to moderate and to see if it generates similar effects to those attributed to the second round (Ballot-age) and if it is integrable in the variables of ballot-age. In order to reach this goal, the author studies the compatibility between a presidential and an elective parliamentary system he also analyzes the different amendment proposals that had taken place since the beginning of the constitutional reform of 2000, and he studies as well if the constitutional reform of 1994, that modified the electoral system for the general elections, has some impact over the political parties system that completes or eliminates the ones that can be generated by the presidential elective system.El presente estudio de caso pretende, tras un somero análisis del sistema político boliviano a través de su sistema de gobierno, su sistema de partidos y su sistema electoral, centrarse en su atípico sistema electoral presidencial para intentar mesurar si genera efectos similares a los que se atribuyen a la doble vuelta, y si es, por tanto, integrable en las variantes de la doble vuelta. Para lograr este objetivo, el autor se detiene a estudiar la compatibilidad entre un sistema de gobierno presidencial y un sistema electivo evidentemente parlamentario, a analizar las diversas propuestas de reforma que ha habido desde el inicio de la reforma constitucional en el 2000, y a calibrar si la reforma constitucional de 1994, que modificó el sistema electoral para elecciones generales, tiene algún impacto sobre el sistema de partidos que complemente o elimine los que pueda generar el sistema electivo presidencial.
