The article offers a reconstruction of the actio quod iussu, and explains its importance to the development of economic activities, mainly commercial, based on a critical examination of the previous reconstruction proposals made by Otto Lenel and Adolf Rudorff. Special investigation is dedicated to the iussum, basic foundation for the concession of the action. In relation to this, two problems are investigated, which are: the beneficiary of the iussum and the interpretation of its sense and effects on Tab. Pomp. 7, issue which links the actio quod iussu to the development tools of Roman commerce.El artículo ofrece una reconstrucción de la actio quod iussu, y hace ver su importancia para el desarrollo de las actividades económicas, principalmente las comerciales, sobre la base de un examen crítico de las anteriores proposiciones de reconstrucción debidas a Otto Lenel y Adolf Rudorff. Indagación especial se dedica al iussum, principal fundamento para la concesión de la acción; y, a propósito de él, se investigan dos problemas, a saber: el del destinatario del iussum y el de la interpretación de su sentido y efectos en Tab. Pomp. 7, cuestión que conecta la actio quod iussu con los instrumentos de desarrollo del comercio romano.
