In this way, several legal instruments are analyzed, among them some European commerce codes of the XIXth century, in order to describe the most important characteristics of the above mentioned evolution and transformation. Finally, a reference is made to the regulation of Mexican commercial law related to negotiable instruments, to be able to characterize what can be called negotiable instruments law of this country. De esta forma, se analizan diversos instrumentos jurídicos, entre ellos varios códigos de comercio europeos del siglo XIX, con el propósito de trazar los rasgos más relevantes de dicha evolución y transformación. Finalmente, se hace una referencia a la regulación que el derecho mercantil mexicano hace de los títulosvalor, para caracterizar así lo que bien puede denominarse el derecho cambiario de nuestro país.
