She points out the need to consider the gender perspective when statutes are passed by Congress, in view of achieving fairness and equality between men and women. In addition, the essay discusses the main constitutional and international instruments intended to achieve gender equality. Moreover, the author analyzes the fundamental rights of young women, such as the right to education, the right to work and the right to health, as well as their constitutional, legal and international regulation. Finally, she stresses the fact that both formal and informal education plays a very important role in the improvement of the condition of women in Mexico. Destaca la necesidad de considerar la perspectiva de género en la producción de las leyes para lograr una situación justa y equitativa entre hombres y mujeres. Por otra parte, expone los principales instrumentos internacionales y los preceptos constitucionales nacionales que establecen la igualdad de géneros. Asimismo, analiza los derechos fundamentales de la juventud femenina, tales como derecho a la educación, derecho al trabajo y derecho a la salud, así como su regulación constitucional, legal e internacional. Por último, la autora señala que la educación formal e informal juega un papel muy importante en el mejoramiento de la condición de la mujer en México.
