| Description | The protection of the privacy and the private life constitutes the border of the person who is exposed to risks before social transformations and technological and scientific innovations. At the same time, the notion of privacy, which appears as a right not to undergo external interferences, evolves until acquiring a wider reach since it also locks up the right of being able to develop freely the own personality. Thus, jurisprudence exerts a fundamental paper in guaranteeing a balance between the protection of the right to life and the protection of other typical rights of the technological and mediatic society. | en-US |
| Description | La tutela de la intimidad y de la vida privada constituye la frontera de la persona que está expuesta a riesgos ante las transformaciones sociales y las innovaciones tecnológicas y científicas. Al mismo tiempo, la noción de privacidad, que nace como un derecho a no sufrir intromisiones externas, evoluciona hasta adquirir un alcance más amplio ya que encierra también el derecho de poder desarrollar libremente la propia personalidad. Así, la jurisprudencia ejerce un papel fundamental en garantizar un equilibrio entre la tutela del derecho a la propia vida y la tutela de otros derechos típicos de la sociedad tecnológica y mediática. | es-ES |
