DescriptionThis work presents the high importance that it takes on due to the complexity of the subject, because while a person changes his/her sex through medical intervention, his/her civil status does not change, and by getting married he/she may incur in an illegal marriage, as estimated by Chapter II of Title XI art. 217 et seq. of the Spanish Penal Code; especially in the crimes of bigamy, art. 217 and the Judge who authorizes marriages prohibited by law, art. 33.en-US
DescriptionEl presente trabajo, presenta el alto relieve que cobra por la complejidad del tema, pues mientras una persona cambia su sexo por medio de la intervención médica, su situación civil no se altera, y al contraer matrimonio puede incurrir en un matrimonios ilegal, así lo estima el Capitulo II del titulo XI art. 217 y ss del Código Penal español; especialmente en los delitos de bigamia, art. 217 y del Juez que autoriza matrimonios prohibidos por la ley, art. 33.es-ES
