DescriptionLos principios fundamentales que rigen la aplicación de las leyes penales en el espacio, son los siguientes: 1) territorialidad; 2) pabellón (o de protección de intereses, o real o de defensa); 3) nacionalidad o de la personalidad; y 4) derecho universal (o principio universalidad). El Derecho Internacional Penal surge como el sistema de Derecho Penal concebido para reprimir las infracciones que atentan contra los bienes jurídicos considerados más relevantes por la comunidad internacional de Estados. Las fronteras nacionales no constituyen obstáculo significativo para la actuación de las organizaciones criminosas.es-ES
