DescriptionThe need for taking much more into consideration the animal abuse has motivated the fact that since the 2003 reform to the criminal code to the last one that is going to take place in july 1st 2015, a path of lights and shadows has been established, until we could incorporade new concepts and modify some of the already existents that place a very high achivement for the criminal policy, that is used as a tool for general prevention. This paper wants to orientate the reader about the reform that has taken place, pointing out its newest elements.en-US
DescriptionLa necesidad de tomar mucho mas en consideración el maltrato a los animales ha hecho que desde la reforma del Código Penal de 2003 hasta la última que próximamente el 1 de julio de 2015 entrará en vigor ha hecho se haya establecido un camino de luces y sombras hasta llegar a la incorporación de nuevos preceptos y modificación de los ya existentes que ponen un umbral muy alto en la política criminal que sobre este tema se lleva desde el punto de vista de la prevención general. El trabajo que se presenta pretende orientar al lector del mismo sobre la reforma operada, incidiendo en los puntos novedosos que aparecen en la misma.es-ES
