DescriptionThe present article aims to begin with the conceptual elements of Honneth’s Theory of Recognition to set the unwaged domestic work, insofar it’s a particular kind of reproductive work, as a case of lack of recognition or disrespect (Mißachtung). From there, we will try to explain which are the underlying causes that have given place to this phenomenon and explain why it’s still happening nowadays. For this, the phenomenon will be analyzed within the context of the differentiation of productive subjectivities and the consequent generation of a relative surplus laboring population. Up to this point, the hypothesis to be sustained consists on affirming that the gender differences that are expressed in the way of reproductive work in general and unwaged domestic work in particular have as their essential core the dynamics of the production and reproduction of the labor force in the social capitalist organization and, together with it, the way in which the process of fragmentation and differentiated reproduction of the productive subjectivities unfolds in the general process of capital accumulation.en-US
DescriptionEl presente artículo tiene como propósito partir de los elementos conceptuales de la Teoría del reconocimiento de Honneth para ubicar al trabajo doméstico no remunerado, en tanto constituye una especie particular de trabajo reproductivo, como un caso de ausencia de reconocimiento o menosprecio (Mißachtung). A partir de allí, se intentará explicitar cuáles son las causas subyacentes que han dado lugar a ese fenómeno y explicar por qué éste persiste hasta el día de hoy; para ello, se echará mano del concepto de sobrepoblación relativa. Así, la hipótesis que se ha de sostener consiste en afirmar que las diferencias de género que se expresan bajo la forma concreta del trabajo reproductivo en general y el trabajo doméstico no remunerado en particular tienen por contenido esencial a la dinámica de la producción y reproducción de la fuerza de trabajo en la organización social capitalista y, junto a ello, al modo en que se despliega el proceso de fragmentación y reproducción diferenciada de las subjetividades productivas en el proceso general de acumulación de capital.es-ES
