DescriptionIn the 4th century BC, Aristotle addressed the difference between ἁμάρτημα (negligence) and ἀδικημα (wrongdoing). Consequently, he distinguishes be-tween voluntary and involuntary acts so as to arrive at such reasoning 200 years before Roman jurists did. Although it is true that it is not possible to affirm an equivalent relationship between neg-ligence, as it was conceived in the Greek world, with the thought of Roman jurisconsult-ants, it is possible to find the trace, the germ or essence of strict negligence, particularly in the treatment of involuntary acts.en-US
DescriptionEn el siglo IV a.C., Aristóteles aborda la diferencia entre ἁμάρτημα (ne-gligencia) y ἀδικημα (dolo). En consecuencia, distingue entre los actos voluntarios e invo-luntarios para de esta manera llegar al razonamiento 200 años antes que los juristas ro-manos. Si bien es cierto, no se puede afirmar una relación equivalente entre la culpa, tal como ésta fue concebida en el mundo griego, con el pensamiento del jurisconsulto romano, sí es posible encontrar particularmente en el tratamiento de los actos involuntarios la huella, el germen o esencia de la culpa estricta.es-ES
