Description¿Qué virtudes debe tener la persona juzgadora? ¿Qué hay de la abogacía? Este trabajo está enfocado en el estudio de la naturaleza ética de la profesión jurídica, planteando la necesidad de modelos de excelencia orientados a la promoción de la justicia. Frente a una visión que concibe al derecho como el arte de persuasión, en este trabajo se explora el paradigma clásico de la “retórica de la virtud”, formulada por Cicerón y Quintiliano. Desde una postura que asimila la tarea judicial como un ejercicio abstracto, este artículo se enfoca en el modelo judicial compasivo defendido por Aristóteles.es-ES
