Description	The article analyzes the reforms in copper mining in Peru, highlighting the importance of the exploitation of unused resources, the reversion of concessions to private companies and state participation in mining exploitation, as well as the participation of workers in the sector. In this regard, the author questions the effectiveness of the reforms and their actual implementation, due to the persistence of economic dependence, the continued presence of foreign companies in copper exploitation and the mediating or regressive translation of political objectives into concrete implementation measures. In this framework, the need for a renegotiation with imperialism in order to maximize national benefits and the redefinition of the national economy is suggested. The author highlights the persistence of certain nationalist values that may not be contributing effectively to the maximization of national benefits. In addition, he discusses the implementation of the new mining policy in Peru, highlighting the reversion of mining concessions, state exploitation and commercialization by the state. Finally, the need for detailed research to understand the direction and impact of the presence of foreign companies in state copper exploitation is discussed.	en-US
Description	El artículo analiza las reformas en la minería del cobre en Perú, destacando la importancia de la explotación de recursos no utilizados, la reversión de concesiones a empresas privadas y la participación estatal en la explotación minera, así como la participación de los trabajadores en el sector. Al respecto, el autor cuestiona la efectividad de las reformas y su implementación real, debido a la persistencia de la dependencia económica, la presencia continua de empresas extranjeras en la explotación del cobre y la traducción mediadora o regresiva de los objetivos políticos en las medidas concretas de implementación. En este marco, se sugiere la necesidad de una renegociación con el imperialismo con el fin de maximizar los beneficios nacionales y la redefinición de la economía nacional. Además, se destaca la persistencia de ciertos valores nacionalistas que podrían no estar contribuyendo efectivamente a la maximización de los beneficios nacionales. Adicionalmente, el autor aborda la implementación de la nueva política minera en Perú, destacando las reversiones de concesiones mineras, la explotación estatal y la comercialización por el Estado. Para finalizar, se plantea la necesidad de una investigación detallada para comprender la dirección e impacto de la presencia de empresas extranjeras en la explotación estatal del cobre.	es-ES
