Description	In this text, we analyze the situation of Mexico’s international trade relations in face of negotiations for the modernization of the North American Free Trade Agreement. The Powers of the American Executive Branch are studied in terms of international commercial negotiations and the options of action against their use. The NAFTA modernization process and its main aspects are considered: the objectives of the countries that are Party to the Treaty and the implications of the proposed changes.	en-US
Description	En el presente texto analizamos la situación de las relaciones comerciales internacionales de México frente a las negociaciones para la modernización del Tratado de Libre Comercio de América del Norte. Se estudian las facultades del Poder Ejecutivo estadounidense en materia de negociaciones comerciales internacionales y las opciones de actuación frente al uso de éstas. Se plantea el proceso de modernización del TLCAN y sus principales aspectos: los objetivos de los países parte del Tratado y las implicaciones de los cambios propuestos.	es-ES
