DescriptionThroughout the history of Spain, there have been numerous attempts to ban bullfighting or, at least, to limit its most barbaric elements, especially with regard to animal abuse. These measures were taken based on the belief that reducing or eliminating bullfighting barbarism would be to the benefit of a more civilized, sensitive and humane society. en-US
DescriptionA lo largo de la historia de España, han sido numerosos los intentos de prohibir los espectáculos taurinos o, cuando menos, de limitar sus elementos más bárbaros, sobre todo en lo que respecta al maltrato animal. Estas medidas se tomaron partiendo de la creencia de que rebajar o eliminar la barbarie tauromáquica iría en beneficio de una sociedad más civilizada, sensible y humana. es-ES
