DescriptionThis article addresses Vernengo’s thoughts on the relationship between law and morality. It starts from the question raised by the author about whether it is possible to make a certain moral relativism compatible with teaching and takes advantage of it to try to justify the possibility of accepting a certain form of relativism that is compatible with moral objectivity (the possibility of moral error) and with another way of understanding the links between law and morality, where the justification of law is a moral justification, with certain particular characteristics related to its institutional nature and its possibility of solving decision-making impasses resulting from the deep moral disagreements expe-rienced by contemporary democratic societies. en-US
DescriptionEl presente artículo aborda el pensamiento de Vernengo sobre la relación entre derecho y moral. Parte de la interrogante planteada por el autor, acerca de si es posible compatibilizar cierto relativismo moral con enseñar algo y la aprovecha para intentar jus-tificar la posibilidad de aceptar cierta forma de relativismo que sea compatible con la ob-jetividad moral (la posibilidad del error moral) y con otra forma de comprender los víncu-los entre derecho y moral, donde la justificación del derecho sea una justificación moral, con ciertas características particulares relacionadas con su naturaleza institucional y su posibilidad de solucionar impasses decisorios producto de los desacuerdos morales pro-fundos que experimentan las sociedades democráticas contemporáneas. es-ES
