In the following paper, argentine professors Roque Caviano and Verónica Sandler analyze the existing possibility of implementing an arbitration agreement contained in a contract in favour of a third party that benefits from it. Thus, the authors review the concept of jurisdictional arbitration and interpret the relevant norms applicable under the Peruvian legal system.En el presente artículo, los profesores argentinos Roque Caivano y Verónica Sandler analizan la posibilidad existente de aplicar un convenio arbitral contenido en un contrato a favor de un tercero, por dicho tercero beneficiario del contrato. Para esto, los autores realizan un relevante repaso por el concepto de la jurisdicción arbitral, así como también brindan una necesaria interpretación de las normas aplicables bajo el ordenamiento jurídico peruano.
