La violencia contra la mujer es sin duda una de las mayores problemáticas en Colombia, es inevitable pensar en cómo con el tiempo surgen y siguen surgiendo modos de violencia que afectan a las mujeres por el hecho indiscutible de ser mujeres, y como el avance y desarrollo tecnológico ha provocado también modos de violencia basada en género contra la mujer en el medio digital y el ciberespacio. La aparición de la “ciberviolencia basada en género”, no solo como una sola forma de vulneración hacia la mujer, sino como un conjunto de maneras para vulnerar la dignidad e integridad de esta población, es por esto que es importante identificar los distintos desafíos normativos que tiene Colombia para la regulación de estas formas de violencia digital y garantizar el bienestar, la seguridad y los derechos de las mujeres y niñas colombianas.Violence against women is undoubtedly one of the biggest problems in Colombia, it is inevitable to think about how over time arise and continue to emerge modes of violence that affect women by the indisputable fact of being women, and how the advancement and technological development has also led to modes of gender-based violence against women in the digital environment and cyberspace. The emergence of "gender-based cyber-violence", not only as a single form of violation against women but as a set of ways to violate the dignity and integrity of this population, which is why it is important to identify the various regulatory challenges that Colombia has for the regulation of these forms of digital violence and ensure the welfare, safety and rights of Colombian women and girls.
