El día 29 de agosto de 2000 nació Adam Nash, el primer bebé del mundo seleccionado genéticamente para curar a un hermano enfermo. Esta revolución biotecnológica provocó un intenso debate bioético acerca de los límites de la libertad reproductiva de los padres, la manipulación de los embriones y la instrumentalización del “bebé medicamento”. El presente trabajo pretende analizar si el principio de justicia distributiva exige que la técnica del “bebé medicamento” esté incluida dentro de la cartera de prestaciones del Sistema Nacional de Salud. doi: http://dx.doi.org/10.20318/universitas.2016.3182Adam Nash was born on the 29th of August 2000. This biotechnological revolution caused an important bioethical discussion about which were the limits of the reproductive autonomy of the parents, the handling of the embryos and  the exploitation of the savior sibling.
