| Description | El presente trabajo tiene como pretensión el estudio de la presencia del Derecho Romano en la enseñanza universitaria impartida por el Departamento de Jurisprudencia de la Universidad de Buenos Aires entre 1822 y 1852, con anterioridad a la creación de la cátedra de “Derecho Romano” a la luz de las ideologías imperantes en el ámbito universitario y de los antecedentes históricos.
