It is feeling with more urgency the need to revitalize the political structures of nations, trying to embody the social body from which they come. In socialist countries the proletariat laborers, conscious of their strength, make feel from time to time their disturbing presence at the party's bureaucratic apparatus which officially represents them. This is, without doubt, the profound meaning of "revolution of December" 70 in Poland, not to mention the spring of 68 in Czechoslovakia. "It is, indeed, the Polish case, the first time - André Martin wrote - for fifty years in the working class of a country under communist rule who took to the streets, wins, sow the panic in the heights of the ruling apparatus and requires a dictator to disappear in the full sense of the word. However, officially the political regime in Poland represents the popular working class. "Se está sintiendo cada día con más urgencia la necesidad de revitalizar las estructuras políticas de las naciones, tratando de encarnarlas en el cuerpo social del que emanan. En los países socialistas el proletariado obrero, consciente de su fuerza, hace sentir de cuando en cuando su presencia en forma inquietante ante el aparato burocrático del Partido que oficialmente le representa. Este es, sin duda, el sentido profundo de la "revolución de diciembre" del 70 en Polonia, por no hablar de la de la primavera del 68 en Checoslovaquia. "Es, en efecto, el caso polaco, la primera vez-- escribía André Martin-- desde hace cincuenta años en que la clase obrera de un país de régimen comunista se lanza a la calle, gana la partida, siembra el pánico en las alturas del aparato dirigente y obliga a un dictador a desaparecer, en la plena acepción del término. Ahora bien, oficialmente el régimen político de la Polonia popular representa a la clase trabajadora" .
