| Description | Since 2018, Mexico is passing through a radical process of political transformation. This article explores how the new power elite has predicated its particular perspectives on constitutional change. Through the focal lenses of Bruce Ackerman’s influential theory on contemporary paths to constitutionalism, it examines the new cycle of political and constitutional transformation promoted by the new government and is put into test to ascertain if its narrative resembles the patterns of revolutionary constitutionalism or, to the contrary, is more in tune with preservationist strategies for constitutional change that the article portrays as regression through transformation. | en-US |
| Description | Desde 2018, México atraviesa un proceso radica de transformación política. Este artículo explora la forma en que la nueva élite del poder ha predicado sus particulares perspectivas en clave de cambio constitucional. A través del prisma de la influyente teoría de Bruce Ackerman sobre las vías contemporáneas del constitucionalismo, se examina el nuevo ciclo de trasformación impulsado por el nuevo gobierno, para determinar si su narrativa se acerca a los patrones del constitucionalismo revolucionario o, por el contrario, está más en sintonía con una estrategia preservacionista de cambio constitucional, que en el artículo se describe como regresión por transformación. | es-ES |
