DescriptionThe article analyses the implementation and management of the hydrocarbon retention scheme in the period 2002-2012. The imposition of export duties, which were modified over time, constituted at that stage one of the main tools of the sectoral policy. In this sense, it seeks to account for the way in which its objectives were applied, the changes introduced according to the local and international context, and the impact on the oil and gas market, mainly in the exploration and extraction activities.en-US
DescriptionEl artículo analiza la implementación y el manejo del esquema de retenciones a los hidrocarburos en el periodo 2002-2012. La imposición de derechos de exportación, que se fueron modificando con el tiempo, constituyó en dicha etapa una de las principales herramientas de la política sectorial. En este sentido, se busca dar cuenta de la manera en que se aplicó, sus objetivos, las modificaciones introducidas de acuerdo al contexto local e internacional, y el impacto sobre el mercado petrolero y gasífero, fundamentalmente en las actividades de exploración y extracciónes-ES
