Description	The aim of this essay is to explore the concept of judicial ethics. As a hypothesis I will support the following definition: judicial ethics is a special case of applied ethics that are characterised by prescribing a duty on judges to take judicial decisions in accordance to the legal system in an independent, fair and justified manner.	en-US
Description	El propósito del presente trabajo será realizar una aproximación exploratoria en torno al concepto de ética judicial. A modo de hipótesis se defenderá la siguiente definición: la ética judicial es una parte de la ética aplicada que se caracteriza por prescribir un deber en cabeza de los jueces de tomar decisiones conforme con el sistema jurídico de manera independiente, imparcial y motivada.	es-ES
