When analyzing the problems of government, the exercise of power, or the constitution from the perspective of constitutional law, the intersection with topics studied by political science becomes evident. This has generated a series of issues regarding the relationship between the two fields, questioning the autonomy of these disciplines. Therefore, the present work aims to clarify the relationship between constitutional law and political science. To this end, human experience and social links are developed, with the purpose of conceptualizing and characterizing political phenomena. In addition, the conception and purpose of Constitutional Law are explored. This framework will highlight the social and legal phenomena that link them. With this, it is concluded that Constitutional Law and Political Science should be used together to achieve a better understanding of the problems they share.Al analizar los problemas del gobierno, el ejercicio del poder o la Constitución desde la perspectiva del derecho constitucional se hace evidente la intersección con los temas estudiados por la ciencia política. Esto ha generado distintos problemas respecto a la relación existente entre ambas materias, cuestionando la autonomía de las disciplinas. Por ello, el presente trabajo tiene como objetivo precisar la relación entre el derecho constitucional y la ciencia política. Para este fin, se desarrollan la experiencia humana y los vínculos sociales, con el propósito de conceptuar y caracterizar los fenómenos políticos. Además, se exploran la concepción y finalidad del derecho constitucional. Este marco pondrá de relieve los fenómenos sociales y jurídicos que las relacionan. Con esto, se concluye que el derecho constitucional y la ciencia política deben ser utilizados en conjunto para lograr un mejor entendimiento de los problemas que comparten.
